Speed Limit Change

A warning to all speed demons in Argyle. TxDOT has initiated a speed limit change on HWY 377 in Argyle. The section of highway that goes through town, zoned 50mph, has been increased to 55mph. The 60mph zones on the north and south end of town have also been changed to 55mph. So be sure to keep an eye out for the signs, no need to get a ticket from Argyle’s Boys in Blue.

    Can we also talk about the poorly marked school zone on 377 at Liberty Christian? There are no markers for the end of the school zone and there is a 55 mph sign immediately after the school zone start on the northbound side.
