Liberty Hosts Community-Wide Event: From Dope to Hope

A&E’s Tim Ryan is no stranger to the addiction crisis. Heroin stole half of his life and took his own son. Since he walked out of prison, Tim’s mission has been to help addicts transform their lives. Now he is coming to the area to speak to parents and students – and offer hope.

On Thursday, Jan. 18 from 7–8:30 p.m., families from the surrounding communities are invited to start out the new year with Tim when he addresses the drug issue and what families can do about it. The free seminar hosted at Liberty Christian School will include a time of Q-and-A as well.

Tim is a sought-after speaker on the opioid pandemic. He was an invited guest by the U.S. President to the 2016 State of the Union Address. He works for Transformations Treatment Center and is an advisor for Rehab.com, providing effective addiction treatment options. He also runs A Man in Recovery Foundation and a website, www.timryanspeaks.com.
