Here’s how the Hilltop Elementary School students did in UIL chess:

3rd Grade – 2nd Place (Team)

            1st Place (tie) – Drighten Miller

 4th Grade – 1st Place (Team)

            1st Place – Will Hodson

            5th Place – Kaiden Miller

            Ben Nichols

 5th Grade – 1st Place (Team)

            2nd Place (tie) – Travis Bitter

            2nd Place (tie) – Evan Harbach

           5th Place – Gavin Dearing
