Council Makes Changes To Speed Limits, Stop Signs

The Argyle Town Council has recently adopted changes to several speed zones and traffic control devices.

Boonesville Bend, Ellison Trace, Nora Lane and Myrtle Lane have had speed limits decrease from from 30 to 25 miles per hour. In addition, the two stop signs on Denton Street on either side of Town Hall have been removed. However, traffic on Mesquite and Walnut Streets is still required to stop while approaching the Denton Street intersection.
